AnorMal

What has worried us today? What could we care about if we were a child without even shoes on the streets of Saint Louis? AnorMal is a sample of a journey to poverty, contained in lights and sounds, that makes possible to feel a bit of a reality that has very little to do with ours.

After attending 2013-2015 Cannes Film Festivals with three different short films, I started a journey to discover, not new cinema fields this time, but new realities. I've been travelling through poverty, and in Senegal I discovered new ways to smile. In my opinion cinema is the most amazing way to give us new perspectives of life. I love fiction, where the metaphor is malleable, but this time I had perfect examples for the message in real life. This short film contains something I'd love to be heard, so it's awesome how it's reaching many different places of our weird world. Thanks to every single film festival that is making that possible.
Yours,
Luis Galán

Madrid, Drawings... and Foreign Girls

Madrid is the city in which Adrian, a 30-year-old artist, believes he has found the solution to his problems with the female sex: diversify... dating foreign girls. Let's see if this incredible night proves him right!

Urban Constellation

Three couples, like many others, are connected by lines we can barely see in the city sky.

The Last of the Nights

Alex lives in agony, searching clues every night about the whereabouts of a girl he loved. Everything around him is questionable and he is only sure of one thing: "tonight is the night".

The First Outbreak

January 2020. Chinese New Year started when several cases of viral pneumonia have been detected in the city of Wuhan. A few days later, the epidemic is real, and chaos takes the province, the country... and the whole world. This film shows the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic in its epicenter. Be prepared for a unique document inside Wuhan houses and hospital rooms. It is not about the numbers, but the feelings of the real people who suffer this terrible disease.

The world is becoming more and more connected, but this doesn't unite us as a species. On the contrary, the racist and nationalist movements are rising up again. The global crisis of COVID-19 has once again put us in a position of discrimination and accusation, mainly against China, but also with each other. In this documentary we travel to the zero point of the pandemic, but not to talk about bats or contrast data, but to feel people. Those to whom the hit came without any knowledge about what could happen to them. We all are one being, and what we may see far away, for better or worse, is a branch of the same tree to which we all belong.

La Motera (The Biker)

After overcoming grade III breast cancer, and facing the closure of her companies by decision of her partners, on September 14, 2019, Marta Insausti starts the journey of her life: around the world on a motorcycle.

"La Motera" is a testimony of one those many women that has a story to tell, one that has been forged country by country, meeting people. I just though it deserve to be listened... and may be useful these days to be told.
